Patrol Rifle
Level II
This is an advanced
course, which will build on the training provided in the
Patrol Rifle Level I course. Students will receive
training in firing from multiple positions (including
unorthodox positions), shooting on the move, team skills
(2 officer teams), combat loading techniques, barricade
shooting, communication skills, and weapon transition
skills. Students will also receive training in low-light
shooting conditions, and there will be a night-shoot.
Students will also be required to successfully complete
a combat course which will require decision making
skills, communication skills, shooting of the move,
weapon malfunction clearing skills, and weapon
transition skills. Patrol Rifle Level I will be a
pre-requisite requirement for this course. This is a (2)
two day course (minimum of 16 hours).
